The desert becomes musical under a big luminous moon, and that's what I channeled into this necklace, which has a sweet handmade silver moon that's been covered in 23.5K gold. The golden moon hangs beneath a line of three little genuine diamond stars. This necklace starts with fine silver, which I melt into a ball, flatten, and then hammer to texture. I make and solder all of the pieces from which the moon hangs on the tiny silver chain, and then wrap the diamonds into the chain. After that, I reheat the final piece and add the pure gold layer on front. It feels positively regal to me.
